Research-use context: “What it is used for” below means what scientists and clinical researchers have investigated—not an instruction or recommendation for personal use.
What researchers study
CJC-1295 is a long-acting growth-hormone-releasing hormone analogue, while ipamorelin is a selective growth-hormone secretagogue. Researchers study the pair for effects on GH/IGF-1 signaling, body composition, recovery and muscle biology.
Potential side effects & unknowns
Human data for the combination itself are limited. CJC-1295 studies increased GH and IGF-1 and reported no serious adverse reactions in small early trials, but GH/IGF-1 stimulation can plausibly affect glucose handling, fluid retention, joint symptoms and other endocrine pathways.
Research highlight
Controlled human studies of CJC-1295 showed sustained increases in GH and IGF-1 after dosing. Evidence for the specific CJC-1295/ipamorelin combination is much thinner and includes preclinical rather than strong human outcome studies.
