Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide investigated in aging biology, telomerase signaling, circadian/pineal function and cellular longevity. Much of the literature is laboratory or animal work.
A dependable modern human adverse-effect profile is not available. Limited animal and cell studies cannot establish clinical safety, interactions, cancer risk, reproductive safety or long-term effects in humans.
Laboratory work has reported telomerase activation and telomere elongation in cultured human cells, while animal studies have explored aging biomarkers and endocrine effects. These findings are mechanistic and preclinical, not evidence that Epithalon extends human lifespan.
